Introduction
After years of working on cars under the open sky, hot or cold, rain or shine, after years of working in a small, crowded and cluttered work area in the basement, I decided to build a garage and workshop. I made the decision late in 2006, ordered a few books on the subject. These were How to Build Small Barns & Outbuildings by Monte Burch, Building a Multi-Use Barn by John D. Wagner and Setting Up Shop by Sandor Nagyszalanczy. Click on the topics below to check out my progress. The topics were sequential until the roof was done. Then I worked as weather allowed, sometimes inside, sometimes outside.
